Commercial Operations (AOC)
To operate aircraft for carriage of passengers and/or cargo (“Hire and Reward”), it is a legal requirement to have an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC). The organizational requirements to develop and maintain an AOC would not make sense for individual aircraft owners.
Prima Air as an established AOC holder focused on general aviation, would be delighted to work with you and have your aircraft operated on our AOC.
Whilst your flying requirements would always be prioritized, such an arrangement would allow Prima Air to earn you an income by chartering your aircraft to third parties when you are not flying.
Under commercial operations, all aspects of your aircraft become our responsibility and rest assured that each and every flight will be flown by our own experienced pilots and supported by a rigorous safety processes involving Continuous Airworthiness Management, Safety Management and Quality Assurance for which we undergo an annual audit with CAAM.
Private Operations
New regulations now require airworthiness aspects of aircraft of all sizes to be managed by a competent organization.
Prima Air is an approved Continuous Airworthiness Management Organization by CAAM with core expertise in general aviation.
Prima Air will deal with all the complexities of the regulations and ensure compliance requirements are met on your behalf including:

Ensuring all processes are governed by Safety Management System

Incorporating your aircraft and obtaining approvals for Aircraft Maintenance Programs, Minimum Equipment Lists and Operating Manuals

Supervising all maintenance including Line and Base as well as embodiment of new AD and SB.

Advising on crew training, skills recurrency and crew records
